🎯 What Will We Learn Today?
Numbers come in two flavors: odd and even! Today we'll learn how to tell them apart and discover some cool patterns they make.
📚 What Are Even Numbers?
Even numbers can be split into two equal groups with nothing left over. They end in 0, 2, 4, 6, or 8.
Think of it: Even numbers are like pairs of shoes — every shoe has a partner!
📚 What Are Odd Numbers?
Odd numbers CANNOT be split into two equal groups — there's always one left over. They end in 1, 3, 5, 7, or 9.
Think of it: Odd numbers are like socks — sometimes there's an unmatched one!
