📐 What Is Symmetry?

Symmetry means a shape looks exactly the same on both sides when you fold it along a line. The fold line is called the line of symmetry.

Shapes with Symmetry:

Square: 4 lines of symmetry!

Rectangle: 2 lines of symmetry

Equilateral triangle: 3 lines of symmetry

Circle: Infinite lines of symmetry!

Heart: 1 line of symmetry（down the middle）

No Symmetry:

A scalene triangle（all sides different）

Most letters like F, G, J, L, P, Q, R
